Our client is looking to onboard a Stores / Inventory Clerk in the Chaguaramas area:

Job Description

The Store Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality,
strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Primary Tasks
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Record any shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Receive, log, and deliver incoming equipment from customers for service.
  • Unpack, code, and route goods to the appropriate storage areas.
  • Maintain internal record-keeping systems, whether manual or computerized.
  • Assisting in the clearance and packing of shipped goods.
  • Maintaining inventory supply, conducting physical stock checks, preparing daily stock returns, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Preparing various inventory and procurement reports as requested.
  • Issuing and ensuring delivery of goods.
  • Assisting in the end-of-year stock count.
  • Operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Provides additional backup support for the shipping and receiving departments.
  • Collect content from recycling receptacles, ensuring contents are disposed of appropriately.
  • Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience
  • A'Levels/CAPE (Accounting).
  • Five (5) CXC/GCE O’Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English A.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management (Stores/Inventory Management) would be an asset.
  • Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Handling material manually
  • Standing, bending or twisting the body
  • Making repetitive motions
  • Continuously required to wear steel-toed work shoes.
