The ideal candidate will proactively identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximize market penetration and revenue.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:a) Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
b) Prepare field visit action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects and project the number of contacts to be made.
c) Initiate contact with new sales prospects before field visits.
d) Follow up on new sales leads resulting from field visits.
e) Prepare quotations and ensure purchase orders are received before invoicing customers.
f) Ensure cash invoices are paid upon receipt of goods and services.
g) Review, update, and submit PO exception reports weekly to the Accounts Department.
h) Scan purchase orders and apply them to invoices on SAP, verifying items to ensure they match the purchase order.
i) Deliver customer orders.
j) Contribute to team efforts by achieving sales targets.
k) Practice defensive driving habits and adhere to road and traffic laws.
l) Maintain a zero-accident rate.
m) Provide support and assistance to the Sales & Materials Manager.
The following skills and attributes are essential for this role:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in administration or accountability.
- Valid driver’s permit.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion.
- Understanding of general business processes.
- ASME standards training.
- Company product knowledge training.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
The position offers a base salary along with a commission structure.
