Our client is seeking to onboard an Account Manager - Wholesale in POS

The role is responsible for achieving and surpassing all sales and profit targets. Accountable for generating new customer targets established by maintaining the highest standards
of selling skills and product knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of three (3) year sales experience with a proven, successful track record of results
  • Five (5) CXC O' Levels inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
  • Associate degree in business management or related field is an asset

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

SALES & REVENUE GENERATION

  • Achieve and surpass all sales, activity benchmarks and profit targets.
  • Execute approved monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategies. Increase sales via maintaining an updated list of current and prospective customers visited on a monthly basis, by reviewing our existing customer listing, consulting our team, business associates, business directories and observing business establishments whilst conducting trade visits.
  • Contact and solicit business from prospects best suited to us, seek referrals, and engage in networking activities.
  • CRM & Pipeline Reporting: Ensuring the on time and accurate CRM information is inputted and submitted for effective pipeline meetings. Ensure that accurate forecasting methods are used to determine end of month sales.
  • Analyze sales reports and quotes lost monthly, develop a revised approach to regain the business.
  • Process quotations/proposals and send out in a timely manner.
  • Make weekly consistent schedules for visiting/calling, making efficient utilization of time.
  • Develop customer profiles for quality, service and pricing requirements.
  • Seek information from customers that may lead to other sales opportunities.
  • Prepare for all Sales Meetings and Coaching Sessions.
  • Responsible for the customer experience of all customers, ensuring that all complaints are handled in the most appropriate manner to ensure customer retention and sales success.
  • Keep the Company informed about sales problems in the market along with competitive activities.
  • Advise the Company of sales opportunities in the market for products other than those currently stocked by the Company.
  • Keep all catalogues and prices up to date.
  • Endeavour to always sell the benefits of the product with less emphasis on product features.
  • Work closely with the Accounts department on Collections and Credit Approvals to reduce the collection period.
  • Follow Credit Control policies and procedures and recommend accounts that should be put on hold in order to protect the Company.
  • Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Department to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time.
  • Communicate effectively with Warehouse Department concerning customers’ requirements and deadlines.

Candidate must have a valid driving license and own a vehicle in roadworthy condition to visit customers in several locations across the country.

Salary Compensation:

The compensation for the position is $8,000.00 which consists of a $3,200.00 base and a guaranteed commission of $4,800.00 for the probationary period of 6 months, after this period the base remains at $3,200.00 plus any commissions made.
