Job Summary:

Key Accountabilities:
Sales
- Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, customers, growth areas, trends in consumer tastes and wishes,
- Develop strategies to increase brand portfolio and awareness
- Develop strategies to drive sales based on unique or specific customer needs
- Forecast and inform sales targets for third party processing, corporate, walk in and online, and distributor sales
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives and the achievement of sales
- Maintain an understanding of potential markets and trends for identifying new opportunities and new products
- Develop quotes, proposals and contracts and engage in negotiations
- Maintain a network and knowledge of companies' activities and milestones to identify corporate sales opportunities
- Maintain cordial and healthy relationship with culinary and retail
- Understand and forecast their needs, including requirements for for future container orders; ensure products can be collected as quickly as possible, communicate price changes and promotions, collect data about their biggest sales and clients
Customer Relationship Management:
- Contact potential clients/buyers to establish rapport and set up meetings/ invite to try new products
- Continuously seek to establish and build relationships with new clients
- Create opportunities for improving relationships with and servicing existing customers
- Proactively engaging clients on new developments of the company’s attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
- Prepare presentations and create sales displays
General Management:
- Provide feedback to and report on performance to management
- Work closely with Director on devising sales strategies
- Participating in monthly meetings to provide insight on sales, marketing and communication strategies
- Informs TCB kitchen of new, large Liaises between kitchen and client regarding order including time frame, labelling, delivery and payment terms
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing,, finance or related field.
- Post graduate qualifications in Finance, Marketing or a related discipline would be an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Senior role in sales and marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in the customer service field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel
- Communication - speaks clearly and concisely, to inform and persuade. Writes grammatically, succinctly and clearly. Seeks to improve writing style and effectiveness.
- Organization : has an organized mind and can maintain and stick to a clear agenda of events and meetings. Keeps on top of phone calls and emails and responds as quickly as possible. Keeps on top of tasks on CRM software and actions all tasks in a timely manner.
- Credible - develops personal credibility on the basis of expanding knowledge and skills and gaining a positive reputation with peers and colleagues
- Business Acumen - develops awareness of commercial / business principles. Investigates and internalizes the impacts and influences concerning the organization's business.
- Advisory and Consultancy - identify and advise on business partnering to develop strategic relationships to create opportunities improve performance and solve business problems. Prepare and present business plans and advise on the actions to implement these plans.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management - use emerging technologies to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Positively develop relationships and gain commitment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategy and Innovation – recommends a range of suitable strategic options from which to develop sustainable plans and objectives. Adopts and applies innovative methods to implement strategy and manages change.
- Problem solver - solves work-related problems, demonstrating innovative, critical thinking and the ability to plan and undertake Analyses complex data from both internal and external sources, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs of clients and the business.
